400 Dairy Cows, 4th Season with Ruminate
Dairy Farmers Trevor and Greg had grown tired of historic farm issues that absorbed a good chunk of their time.
During their first season with Ruminate, they implemented Ruminate’s Doc Taylor tailored nutrition program which included a comprehensive 21 day transition protocol. They saw an increase in the overall health of the herd and measurable improvements in performance.
“The farm right now is exceeding expectations. We’re producing so much more than we’ve ever done.
“We are very happy with what Ruminate has helped us achieve in the first year. Ruminate helped tackle historic repro and production issues the farm has had. Being able to work with heathier cows on a well-balanced diet has helped ease workload. Working with Ruminate has been great, we’ve learnt a lot along the way. Being on peat land, we used to have to inject the herd with copper in the winter, this year the cows' bloods were perfect in winter.
