Ruminate started in 2016. Two mates, a farm shed, and a blue concrete mixer. Alastair and Jack had identified something the NZ farming industry was missing — a nutrition company that combined world-class research with a genuine understanding of what it means to farm in New Zealand.
In the first four months, they produced 38 tonnes of product (in the concrete mixer!).
Today, Ruminate Nutrition Specialists work alongside dairy, sheep, beef and goat farmers across the country — and the approach hasn’t changed.
